Attending sessions during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak

This post contains information about attending sessions during the Coronavirus outbreak.

I am currently working as normal while following BACP, UKCP and UK Government guidance around Coronavirus. This means that I am seeing clients face-to-face when that is wanted. I am wiping down all surfaces in-between sessions and a supply if hand sanitiser gel and wipes is available in my therapy room. Seats are placed apart at a safe distance.

I ask clients to follow up-to-date advice in order to protect both ourselves and those who are vulnerable, and I will do the same.

The Government’s guidance can be found here.
NHS advice can be found here.

For people who do not wish to attend in person or who are self-isolating, I can arrange online or telephone sessions. I can also conduct all sessions by phone or online if future advice requires more social distancing or non-essential business closures, or if you need to stay somewhere outside of Newcastle.

I hope this information is helpful but feel free to contact me if you have any queries or concerns.
